Who we are
This website is operated by Doppio Digital, [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME AND NUMBER], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Doppio Digital is the data controller for the personal data you submit. ICO registration number: [ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER PLACEHOLDER]. Contact: [PRIVACY EMAIL PLACEHOLDER].
What we collect
Your postcode, the service you need, how urgent it is, your door type if known, your description of the problem, your name, phone number and (optionally) email address, and the page and advertising source of your enquiry. We also record calls to our tracked phone number, along with technical data such as your IP address and, if you agree to cookies, analytics data.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To pass your enquiry to garage door specialists: your consent, given by ticking the consent box (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- To contact you about your enquiry and check the service quality: legitimate interests.
- Analytics and advertising cookies: consent, via the cookie banner.
Who we share it with
With your consent, we share your enquiry details with up to 2 independent local garage door specialists who cover your postcode. Each becomes a separate controller of your data once they receive it, and their own privacy notice applies. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf: GoHighLevel (CRM and website hosting), a call-tracking provider and Google (Analytics and Ads). Some of these may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We never sell your data to marketing lists.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for [24 months] after your last contact with us, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we process it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere (data portability). You can also withdraw your consent at any time by emailing [PRIVACY EMAIL PLACEHOLDER]. Withdrawing consent won't affect details already shared, but we'll tell the specialists you no longer wish to be contacted.
Complaints
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
